Specifically designed:
The Aurora School is specifically designed to meet the needs of children
with moderate to severe learning disabilities. Our classes include students with
various degrees of multiple disabilities, students on the autism spectrum, ADHD,
cognitive impairment, communication impairment, and neurological and developmental delays.

Groups:
The students at the Aurora School will be grouped according to educational
program, age, and ability. The classes are self-contained with a teacher and two
teaching assistants per classroom. Class sizes are limited to five classes with eight or less students in each. Students range in age from
3 to 7.

Eligibility:
The Aurora School cannot accept students who are a danger to themselves
or others, or whose considered eligible for hospital or residential placements.
We will accept students who are unable to be included in their neighborhood school for reasons determined by their district.
